Fusion shoot with Jodie & Family

I was once again given the opportunity to shoot alongside Ainslie Bernoth from Wild Spirit Photography last Thursday where we were shooting a session for Jodie and her gorgeous family. Jodie was an attendee from the first Fusion workshop that I held and was one of the cinematographers for the gorgeous video of Ashton & Savannah that we did during the workshop. Ainslie had three amazing setups for us, and it goes to show just how amazing your shoots can look when you add some color! From gorgeous multi-colored drapes that hung over the bed to the brilliantly colored cupcakes, the props...

Now you might be thinking that this isn’t new news at all – hear me out. Professional photographers have these cameras that take beautiful photographs that have a video function – and don’t know how to use it more than how...

Natural Arch – Short Film

We have been working on a project for Gold Coast tourism and I had the opportunity to get my hands on a Canon 7D for most of the shots. One of the locations we needed to highlight was at the Natural Arch near Springbrook, Queensland, Australia. It is a spectacular location just north of the NSW border and the cave is renown for the glow worms that live on the ceiling of the cave. Gear As mentioned this was shot using a Canon 7D at 25fps 1080p. I took three lenses with me, but I think I only used two – the Tokina 11-16mm and the Canon 40-80mm. For the dolly shots I was using the Wally...
